# Claude Code

> Add Spiral to Claude Code with one command.

**1. Add the hosted server**

With `SPIRAL_API_KEY` set in your shell:

```bash theme={null}
claude mcp add spiral --transport http https://mcp.spiral.ai \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer $SPIRAL_API_KEY"
```

**2. Verify**

```bash theme={null}
claude mcp list
```

**3. Try a starter prompt**

```text theme={null}
Find a text-to-image tool, tell me what one image costs, then generate a lighthouse at dawn.
```
